Calendar months are not fixed durations
A calendar month describes movement from a date to its matching date in another month. Because February, April, June, September, and November are shorter than 31-day months, age in months must preserve the calendar rather than treat every month as 30 days.
Completed months and remaining days
Suppose a month anniversary has passed but the following one has not. The first number is the count of completed month anniversaries; the remaining-day number measures from the latest anniversary to today. The calculator also shows a days-divided-by-30 figure only as a clearly labeled comparison.

How is age in months calculated?
The calculator advances from the birth date by complete calendar months until the next month anniversary would pass today. It then counts the remaining days.
Why not divide my age in days by 30?
Real months range from 28 to 31 days. Dividing by 30 produces a useful approximation, but not the number of completed calendar months.
How are month-end dates handled?
When a month lacks the original day number, the anniversary is clamped to that month's final valid date. For example, January 31 advances to February 28 or 29.
Are leap years included?
Yes. February has 29 days in Gregorian leap years, and the remaining-day calculation uses that actual month length.
