Why AgeExactly exists

A person's age is more than the current year minus their birth year. Real calendars have months of different lengths, leap years, birthdays that have not happened yet, and edge cases such as February 29. AgeExactly was created to make those calculations immediate, understandable, and consistent.

Accuracy and methodology

The age calculator uses calendar arithmetic rather than assuming that every month has the same length. Leap days and month-end boundaries are handled explicitly and covered by automated tests.

Optional Birth Insights use the selected city's coordinates, its IANA timezone, historical daylight-saving rules, and astronomical calculations for the exact birth instant. Moon and Ascendant calculations use Astronomy Engine. Traditional zodiac interpretations are presented as cultural and astrological associations, not scientific personality assessments or predictions.

Privacy by design

AgeExactly does not require registration. Birth details and calculated results are not stored in a database or added to URLs. Place suggestions come from data bundled with the application rather than an external geocoding service. AgeExactly is an informational utility. Results should not replace official records, legal advice, medical advice, or professional astronomical software where certified precision is required. Approximate values are labeled, and the site aims to explain material assumptions instead of hiding them.
